The VIP Summer Camp Experience—Memories that Will Last a Lifetime

Summer Camp 2013 was destined to be a special year for me as I was getting married on Wednesday May 22 (the day before the festival began). I would have never guessed that I would be lucky enough to win VIP tickets and to be able to have the full VIP experience while at the festival.

The shows this year that were featured in the VIP tent were outstanding and it was really amazing to be able to get so up close and personal with the Keller Williams set that was on Friday afternoon. I was so excited to get to see Keller in such an intimate setting and even happier since I got to experience it with a Cuestion Tequila margarita in hand. These amazing margaritas were some of the best that I have ever had and since that is my favorite drink, it says a lot.

I am so thankful to Cuestion Tequila for their generous offer of two VIP tickets and am so happy that my new husband and I got to partake in the wonderful events that are sure to become memories to last for the rest of our lives. I would highly recommend the VIP experience to anyone who is going to the festival because it makes parking and setting up your campsite a lot easier than if you go in with a regular ticket.

As for other outstanding memories at the festival, there were a lot but I will share the highlights that we enjoyed. Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band tore up their late night set on Thursday night. I was able to catch a few minutes of the Cornmeal late night set and then went on to catch the full show that Reverend Peyton put on. It was outstanding and if you have not heard of them, they are one band that you should check out.

Finally the highlight of the weekend for me was being able to see the Trey show on Sunday night up close and center stage. Again I had a Cuestion Tequila margarita in hand as I often did throughout the weekend. I felt like Trey locked eyes with me a few times and was super happy to be able to experience such an amazing set so close to him. As a Phish fan this experience alone would have made Summer Camp amazing.

Cornmeal’s final show with Allie Kral was another amazing show and one that literally brought me to tears. I feel like I have grown up listening to them and had even been a member of their street team about seven and eight years ago. I am sad to see Allie go but hope that she will be on to bigger and better things for her career.

Again I am so happy and thankful for this amazing opportunity and plan on returning to the festival as a VIP in the future. I would like to thank Cuestion Tequila again for making it all possible and for giving us such an awesome experience for our honeymoon. As a mom and dad to four kids we do not do a lot without our children and we try to plan trips alone on a pretty tight budget.
